Saint Louis, MO: May 15, 2022 – In May 2017, Sound Health Services was the first physician practice in the St. Louis region to open a walk-in clinic to care specifically for patients with ENT-related issues.  Five years later, ENT Now is flourishing as a quick, convenient way for patients experiencing ear, nose and throat symptoms or conditions to get the evaluation and treatment they need.  Some of the common conditions seen at ENT Now include nosebleeds, ear wax removal, sinus and ear infections, allergies, sore throat, and hearing loss.

When Covid-19 hit the St. Louis area in 2020, ENT Now responded quickly by offering PCR and rapid antigen testing. To date, ENT Now has performed over 36,000 Covid tests. According to Sound Health CEO, Dave Hinkle, “Many patients who came to ENT Now for Covid testing are returning when they have other ENT symptoms. They realize how quick and easy it is to come here.”

Dr. James Hartman, Otolaryngologist and President of Sound Health Services, serves as Medical Director for ENT Now.  He says “ENT Now is very accessible for busy people needing to be seen the same day with urgent ear, nose, and throat problems. We have ear nose and throat nurse practitioner specialists to provide that urgent assessment and care. They don’t replace a patient’s PCP or specialist relationship but can provide immediate access when necessary.”
