Kate Middleton wears £10 ASOS earrings to visit London mental health centre – My London

Kate Middleton was spotted wearing a pair of £10 ASOS earrings on a visit to a mental health text service she helped set up yesterday.

Known to love a good bargain, the Duchess met volunteers, clinical supervisors and fundraisers at the Shout 85258 charity on Wednesday (January 26), which Kate and William helped launch.

It’s Kate’s choice of earrings which have stolen the show though, with a pair of simple £10 gold plated earrings from ASOS (that she’s worn before) showing her down to earth side, reports the Mirror.

They also got an outing last October when Kate gave a keynote speech to launch the Action on Addiction campaign.

She also wore them while attending the re-opening of the V&A Museum in London in May 2021.

On the fashion retailers website, you can find the earrings here, they’re described as being 14k gold plated or “a layer of the good stuff”, as well as featuring a 20mm hoop size.

The earrings are reviewed 4.4 out of five with one customer writing: “Love this item at a great price goes well with all outfits.”

“A little heavy so I couldn’t wear them all day but they’re great for an evening out. Very pretty and not too yellow,” a second reviewer added.

Kate paired the earrings yesterday with an olive green patterned dress with a pussybow neckline costing £355 by Derek Lam alongside a pair of black boots from Ralph Lauren.

Kate’s visit to shout came as the charity marked its millionth text conversation.

Use of the platform has jumped by 140 per cent since the start of the pandemic, and Kate was told of the need for more volunteers to meet the growing demand.
