Weight loss expands into Upwell – Fenland Citizen

Slimming World consultant Allison Harness has almost doubled the size of her Outwell group in just over two months.

Now she is expanding with the opening of a new group in Upwell.

As she lives in Upwell, Allison said she is delighted to be able to open a Slimming World group in Upwell Village Hall at 6pm on Thursdays starting on January 20.

and she is offering the added bonus to both group members that if they can’t make their usual session then they are welcome to attend the other group. Outwell group meets at the village hall at 9am on Thursdays.

Allison has had two training weekends away at Slimming World head office in Derby as well as numerous zoom training sessions, and has passed eight diplomas, which together with her own weight loss experience she is more than capable of helping others to shed the pounds.

She said: “I really love being a Slimming World Consultant and being able to give my members guidance and support. I struggled with my weight for many years, I didn’t realise back then how changing your mindset around food is as important as what you eat, Slimming World has helped me make those changes, and now our fabulous new members pack, free to all members is designed to help us look at the psychology of weight loss and our own mindset, making changes in how we shop, cook and eat, with the fabulous Food Optimising system it is so easy to lose weight, feel fantastic and keep it off forever.”

Allison continued: “It takes courage to join or re-join a slimming group, I totally understand that, myself and every member have braved that first step, and it is so worth it, with our friendly supportive groups there is no better time than the start of a New Year to begin your journey toward your dream weight.”
